I would just like to say how sorry we feel for the Management and players following Tuesdays FA hearing. When you cut through the red tape we are all Football people and the players from Woodbridge played their hearts out on a pretty awful day for 120 minutes and probably should have won the game to earn a replay on their own patch.I can assure you that this is not the way we would have chosen to progress and I will stress this to our players next saturday.

We wish Woodbridge FC all the best ...

ELY CITY 18th V 15th HAVERHILL ROVERS

The Robins have yet to beat a side above them in the table at The Unwin Ground and could find this a tough encounter against an improving Rovers side that has lost just once on the road this season. The visitors defeat at Leiston was their only loss in their last nine and they will be looking to preserve that record here.

There were shocks in the PREMIER DIVISION with leaders LEISTON held to a draw by basement club WIVENHOE TOWN who collected only their second point of the season with a 75th minute equaliser from 71st minute substitute Jonathon Carr cancelling out Danny Cunningham’s 10th minute volley. They have at least three players who are (according to Cambridge Utd website) on contract at Cambridge Utd, and who are being allowed to continue with CRC. However, it seems they can be flitting between both clubs willy nilly. Nothing against Jez George but this really takes the biscuit,

A cracking game, Team Bury shaded the first half and went in 1-0 up through Ryan Clarke, starting and finshing a lovely little move on the edge of the Halstead box. Halstead came back strongly in the second half with their sub (no 15) involved in a lot of their best play. They deservedly equalised with about 20 minutes remaining. This sparked what had been a decent game up 'till then to even greater heights. Play went from end to end from goalmouth scramble to ...

The home sides unbeaten run is now in double figures and extends beyond two months without a goal being conceded in over 4.5 hours of football.
