As a life long follower of Felixstowe Town, now F & W, and non-league football in general, i would like to make an observation regarding a little restoration of faith i have encountered.
F & W have had an interesting few seasons, Steve Potts doing some fantastic stuff, with Glenn and the team taking it on this season, with a promising season ahead next year. As the players came and went, some to better things, some engineered moves disappointingly, some just didn't justify the budget spent on them, one player deserves credit.
Porky Claydon remained a constant standard setter. Travelling for every training session he could (and knowing some of the younger players - he had a very positive influence), but also trying his a** off for every minute of every game (he played most). His attitude and application was first class, and as a paying supporter i'd like to thank him for his efforts - he'll always be welcome at Dellwood.
