Ely City 18th V 22ND Harwich & Parkeston
Will the Robins be the first to fall against the new management team at the Shrimpers, Ely have won only two from six at home and scored just five goals. The Shrimpers, with a straight eight defeats on the road have scored six times away. Something has to give, could it be a win or a point at last for the visitors, either result will lift them off the bottom.

Felixstowe & Walton United 10TH V 7TH Walsham Le Willows
The Seasiders could have no complaints after their midweek defeat at home to leaders Leiston, but now have three more home league fixtures in November to restore the supporters faith. They have already lost at the Willows in the League Cup and the visitors haven’t lost on their last five trips away from Summer Road, this could be a tough encounter where both sides may be happy with a share of the spoils.

Histon Res. 13th V 9th Hadleigh United
The Brettsiders have only lost once on the road and have a +4 goal difference so will not fear this trip to Bridge Road while the home side have won their last four home games scoring 17 times while conceding just once. Two of those wins were against the basement clubs and the visitors will certainly provide stiffer opposition.

Kirkley & Pakefield 5th V 6TH Debenham LC
The Royals have conceded just three goals at Walmer Road, all in their only home defeat so far and will present a stiff test to a visiting Debenham side who themselves have a respectable away record although last week at Outwell brought a heavy defeat by Wisbech. This will certainly be a big test for the Maitlands side.

Leiston FC 1ST V 8TH Wroxham FC
The Victory Road side were full of quality in midweek when they brushed aside the Seasiders unbeaten home record to extend their advantage at the top and entertain the Yachtsmen who have won their last four on the road. The visitors have five games in hand over the leaders but cannot afford to drop any points if they are to close the gap against a side at the top of their form.

Mildenhall Town 16TH V 19TH King’s Lynn Res.
The ‘Hall re-arranged their midweek game to accommodate CRC but still went down at home and will be looking to get back on track in this game against a Linnets side who have lost seven out of eight on the road including midweek at Outwell to take their losing run to five games. The home side will see this as an opportunity to get back to winning after two defeats.

Newmarket Town 17TH V 19TH Woodbridge Town
The Jockeys have lost their last three but will be looking to collect maximum home points against a Woodpeckers side that have won three times this season, all on the road. Victory here could put them within two points of the Jockey’s, the home side have a game in hand and will be looking to widen the gap.

Norwich United 12TH V 14TH Haverhill Rovers
This is a must win game for the Planters, Rovers sit a point behind them in the table with five games in hand. Norwich have drawn their last three at home but lost heavily in midweek away while Rovers have won three and drawn one of their last four so will have plenty of confidence going into this game.

Stanway Rovers 4TH V 3RD CRC
This must be match of the day, Rovers need a win here to keep in touch with the sides above them including their visitors. CRC have now gone 14 games without tasting defeat including a midweek win at Mildenhall and are on the heels of the top two. Rovers are capable of beating anyone at the Hawthorns and the visitors will have a difficult test here.

Wisbech Town 11th V 2nd Needham Market
The Fenmen have found some form in the last month with a run of five games undefeated and will need to maintain that against a Needham side in top form with a 14 match unbeaten run and wins in all the last seven. The Marketmen edged a close game in midweek against basement side Harwich so the Fenmen will feel they have a chance here.

Wivenhoe Town 21st V 15th Dereham Town
POSTPONED – Dereham Town have five players in Norfolk Under 18’s squad.

I think you are getting confused SB, are you thinking Of Team Dereham rather than Dereham Town?

Not that Team Dereham would have any connection with any other club even if they existed!

Norwich United 1 - 1 Haverhill Rovers

Bit of a game of 2 halves really. Norwich were woeful in the first half, so when we took the lead just before half time, I couldn't see us going home with anything less than 3 points. But Norwich did improve after the break and scored with probably their only shot on target (although it was quite a well worked goal really). Not sure if a draw was really a fair result, but it does keep our mini unbeaten run going. Portman Road next on Tuesday!

If only Wroxham played football and not intent on kicking everything and niggling all game..they would probably be a top 2 side.. Rolling Eyes
